The Gunners have tried to sign talented pass-master Samper before, and now with the player struggling to break through at the Nou Camp, they’re making a new push.
According to the Spanish media Wenger will cough up the relatively low release clause in the new year in the hope of bringing yet another of the Catalan’s starlets to north London.
Samper has previously been likened to former Arsenal hero Cesc Fabregas and Wenger will hope to use those comparisons as an example in order to bring him to the club.
Arsenal are also reportedly using Hector Bellerin and Jon Toral, who have both swapped the Nou Camp for the Emirates in recent years, to tempt the player and expect to do business.
