With such a low price tag, you’d think Arsenal or Liverpool would be able to easily land Luiz Adriano. Will the Brazilian be stolen from them?

A familiar foe has reared its head in Arsenal and Liverpool’s race to sign Shakhtar Donetsk striker Luiz Adriano with AC Milan reportedly joining the mix.
According to the Express, the Serie A giants have set their sights on the former 2006 FIFA World Cup Champion, who has played the last nine senior seasons in the Ukrainian Premier League. With a reported transfer price of just £5.5 million, Adriano could be a steal for a team looking for a proven striker with six consecutive double-digit goal seasons.
AC Milan has been quite the thorn in the sides of Arsenal and Liverpool lately, most recently snatching Carlos Bacca out from under them just this past week. Not content to settle for one scoring sensation, the Italian club is trying to build a scoring machine in order to compete with three-time Serie A champion Juventus – who may now be vulnerable after selling top scorer Carlos Tevez to Boca Juniors.
In nine seasons with Shaktar Donetsk, Adriano has scored 129 total goals in 266 total appearances and won six Ukrainian Premier League championships.
