Both the Reds and Gunners have been linked to the player in recent days, but Daily Star [via Marca] reports Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have moved into pole position for the Spanish international.
Pedro is understood to be highly-rated by Barcelona, however, the 27-year-old has struggled for first team action at the Camp Nou following the excellent form of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
According to the report, Pedro is keen to join PSG and the club are desperate to do a deal to bring the Barcelona youth product to the French capital.
It is believed Pedro may be signed as a possible replacement for former Napoli man Ezequiel Lavezzi, with the Argentine’s future at the club uncertain.
According to The Mirror, Pedro could become available for £15m, and the Catalan giants may not step in his way following his long service to the club combined with the recent signing of Arda Turan.
