Leicester City have gotten off to a surprisingly good start to their 2015-16 season, and they are being linked to another transfer window move.
According to the Daily Express, the Foxes are expected to activate Birmingham winger Demarai Gray’s £4.7m release clause.
Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri refused to confirm the club are in negotiations with Gray.
“I don’t speak about speculation, only when a player arrives. There are some good players like him but it is not only him,” Ranieri said.
The Premier League squad will be facing competition from powerhouse clubs though, as the 19-year-old starlet is also receiving interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.
Gray figures to offers great potential and has scored six goals in 43 appearances for Birmingham.
However, he would be making a major transition as he has never played in the Premier League.
Gray would also be leaving behind a club that he just signed a three-year contract with, so it remains to be seen whether he will make the jump this early in his career.
