Carl Jenkinson hoping West Ham spell can ignite his international career.
Arsenal right back Carl Jenkinson is hoping that his season-long loan spell at West Ham United can reignite his international career, report the Mirror, with right back having emerged as one of the problem positions for Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson.

Jenkinson fell out of favour at the Emirates Stadium following the arrival of Mathieu Debuchy from Newcastle United this summer but, ironically, could have been back in had he stayed at the club after the Frenchman picked up an injury.
The former Charlton Athletic man is happy to be at Upton Park, however, and hoping to stake his place as a contender for a long term berth at right back for England:
“The position is there for the taking. It’s up to us all to do the business. It won’t be easy, of course, but I, as much as any of those boys, want to be in that England squad. I believe I am capable of it.”
