Arsenal are being strongly tipped to complete the signing of Velez Sarsfield youngster Maxi Romero within the next week, according to reports in the Daily Telegraph.

The 16-year-old is regarded as one of the most promising young talents in Argentina and even the whole of South America at the moment, having recently attracted the interest of the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger is know for his eye for top young talent, having made a similar move for Polish teenager Krystian Bielik during the recent January transfer window.
Romero could now be the latest exciting young talent to make the move to the Emirates Stadium, in what is expected to be a £2m transfer, which could end up being a bargain if the player fulfills his tremendous potential at the club.
Arsenal will send officials to Argentine next week to finalise talks, with Romero expected to complete his transfer to the north London giants.
