Gunners hoping to complete signing of Stephane Lichtsteiner.
Arsenal are hoping to improve their lack of defensive depth in the January transfer window by pushing through a deal for Juventus right back Stephane Lichtsteiner ahead of Chelsea and Real Madrid, report the Express.

Lichtsteiner has been an important part of the Juventus side who have won three consecutive Serie A titles and is also a seasoned Swiss international but could be tempted by a new contract ahead of the expiry of his contract in Turin next summer.
This could mean that Arsenal can secure Lichtsteiner on a pre-contract deal in January ahead of a free transfer deal or attempt to secure the player on a bargain deal from the Old Lady if they are willing to let him leave mid-season.
