Gunners taking a look at Jonathan Calleri.
Arsenal are looking to secure a first option agreement with Argentine giants Boca Juniors over the signing of young striker Jonathan Calleri, report the Metro, with the 21 year-old having broken into the club’s first team this season.

The comparison with prolific Napoli striker Higuain is a surprising one, with Calleri generally operating in a more withdrawn role for Boca since he signed from domestic rivals All Boys, although the 21 year-old is also a prolific finisher given the chance.
The report suggests that Arsenal are either hoping to secure a first option deal on Calleri, potentially allowing him to remain with Boca for the time being, or sign him and then loan him out abroad, potentially to Spain, as they have done with the likes of Wellington Silva and Joel Campbell in the past.
