Arsenal’s awful injury record is world famous, but a recent study has found that the Gunners were not the worst affect team in the Premier League last season.
The study, which was carried out by The Telegraph, added up the number of days missed by injured players. In total Arsenal players missed 1,645 days, which is over four years!
However, incredibly, there was a team with a worse record than the Gunners – Newcastle United’s players missed 1,995 days of the 2014-15 campaign with various injuries, illnesses, ailments and more serious conditions.

Manchester United are third on the list with a grand total of 1,554. Luke Shaw’s injury problems were accountable for 120 of those days.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur were last season’s healthiest Premier League team – with just 541 sick days.
