Reports over the last few days had suggested that the two clubs had agreed on a €30m deal, with the Chilean media and a Turin-based newspaper claiming that it was true.
However, those rumours have since been dismissed and it doesn’t appear as though Vidal is bound for the Premier League this summer with his agent claiming they never spoke to the Gunners.
“I have never had any contact with Arsenal about Arturo,” Fernando Felicevich said, as reported by Football Italia.
It remains to be seen whether or not the 28-year-old remains with the Serie A champions next season, as Arsene Wenger isn’t the only admirer of his skills.
The combative Chile international is widely regarded as one of the most talented midfielders in Europe, with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea previously linked with making an offer for his services.
