Gunners to open talks for midfield ace.
Arsenal are reported to have made an £8 million move for Paris Saint Germain youngster Adrien Rabiot, according to the Metro.
The French under-21 international has been tipped to leave the Ligue 1 champions this summer having turned down the chance to sign an extension at the end of the previous campaign.
He has not totally ruled out signing an extension, but reports now say Arsenal have opened talks with PSG over a deal to take him to the Emirates Stadium after the club’s sours kept a close watch on his whilst he was on loan with Toulouse.
Chelsea have also been linked with making a move to secure his future, though it is thought he would prefer the opportunity to work for Arsene Wenger.
PSG are thought to value Rabiot at around £8million, and Arsenal would be able to offer him a significant increase on his current £8,000-a-week salary in the French capital.
