Ezequiel Lavezzi has quietly put up impressive numbers as a mere winger in his lengthy career.
Arsenal, Liverpool & Man United have all expressed significant interest in Paris Saint-Germain winger/forward Ezequiel Lavezzi and may have just hit paydirt thanks to Man United’s recent transfer move.
According to the Daily Star, the arrival of Angel Di Maria in Paris could lead to the departure of one of the team’s stars as Lavezzi appears to be on the way out of PSG.
The 30-year-old Argentinian star is believed to have been pushed further down the depth chart due to Di Maria’s arrival with Forza Italian Football calling Lavezzi’s chances of leaving “high.”
Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked to a move for Lavezzi, who has 100 league goals since 2003 and 20 goals as a member of PSG.
Lavezzi signed with Paris Saint-Germain back in 2012 on an estimated €26.5 million transfer deal from Napoli and signed a four-year deal with the French giants worth a reported €30 million.
Utilized significantly in UEFA action, Lavezzi has 27 appearances and 7 goals for PSG over the past three seasons.
In 2008, Lavezzi won an Olympic Gold medal with the Argentinian soccer team and had 10 caps in 2014, starting in the 2014 FIFA World Cup as well.
