Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly on red alert with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski set to quit the German club, according to reports.
The Polish international did not feature in any of Dortmund’s first three games of the season, and TalkSport reports the midfielder is ready to leave the Westfalenstadion.
Blaszczykowski has been a mainstay in the Dortmund squad since 2007, but has found first-team football hard to come by in recent times.
It seems new manager Thomas Tuchel does not see the Pole as part of his first-team plans this season, leaving the door open for a Premier League club to swoop.
German newspaper Bild reports La Liga side Real Betis are keen on the 29-year-old, but could be priced out of negotiations should Arsenal and Manchester United enter the race for Blaszczykowski’s signature.
TalkSport also reports that Liverpool are also on alert to Blaszczykowski’s possible availability.
