Manchester United star agrees to sign for Real Madrid, Spanish journalist claims
The Argentine international has been in superb form in front of goal for the Serie A giants this season, scoring 23 goals in all competitions to continue his reputation as one of the world’s most lethal and prolific strikers.
This has seemingly alerted big names like Arsenal and United as they chase improvements to their attacks for next season, with United in particular in need of quality to replace misfiring pair Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao, who have just 14 goals between them this term.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are long-term admirers of the 27-year-old, though Arsene Wenger already has in-form attacking duo Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez to choose from upfront, with Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott also capable backup options in the team’s front line.
