Arsenal and Manchester United both look set to miss out as Real Madrid and Juventus prepare a sensational swap deal for the January transfer window, according to Tuttosport.

The exchange should see Arturo Vidal and Sami Khedira swap places in the new year, with Real keen to offload the German international quickly to avoid losing him for free in the summer.
The Spanish giants have been keen to rival United for the signing of Vidal, who would no doubt make a great replacement for the departing Khedira in midfield.
However, this will prove a major blow for Arsenal in their search for a new signing in that department.
