The 24-year-old has been impressing in La Liga this season following a £4m switch from Reims over the summer and the Gunners view the Poland international as the answer to their problems.
Manager Arsene Wenger is understood to be keen to sign a defensive midfielder in the January transfer window with concerns growing over the capabilities of captain Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini in the role.
Krychowiak had been identified as the ideal candidate by Wenger, but his current club deny the Pole is going anywhere.
“We’ve not received any offer for him,” Monchi was quoted by the Mirror.
“Things are going very well with Krychowiak. We’re going to let him enjoy being at Sevilla because he’s delighted to be here. There’s nothing [to announce].”
Both Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan are also understood to be interested in Krychowiak, who has a £24m release clause written into his contract at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
