Arsenal are looking increasingly likely to be without midfield star Jack Wilshere for Tuesday night’s Champions League clash with Anderlecht after he sat out of training on Monday morning, the Daily Star reports.

Wilshere missed Saturday’s 3-0 win over Burnley at Emirates Stadium with a knee injury, and also sat out the 2-0 win at Sunderland the week before.
During his usual pre-match press conference Arsene Wenger admitted that it is still touch and go as to whether he will be fit enough to take part in the game.
He said of the injury: “Very, very short-term. He got a kick on his knee. At the moment he doesn’t practice. I don’t know if Anderlecht on Tuesday will be too early or not. He’s not training at the moment.”
The England ace has not played since the reverse fixture against Anderlecht, when two late goals sealed all-three points for Arsene Wenger’s side.
