England boss Roy Hodgson wants Jack Wilshere to step up
Following the international retirement of both Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard the Three Lions manager has said it is Wilshere’s chance to shine.
The 22-year-old will start against Norway in his nation’s next match and this could be the chance for the midfielder to establish himself in the starting XI.
“Most people have thought that when Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard were no longer here it would be the chance for Jack. I believe that too,” Hodgson was quoted by Goal.
