Arsenal defender faces three-month injury blow
Arsenal have been dealt a major injury blow with the news that Mathieu Debuchy could be out of action for three months, according to the Sun.
The French international, a summer signing from Newcastle United, went off late on in this weekend’s draw with Manchester City, and now looks set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines with an ankle problem.
Arsene Wenger has youngster Calum Chambers as a backup in the right-back slot, but this injury exposes the club’s lack of depth in defence, with Chambers also used to fill in at centre-back this season.
