Man Utd legend baffled by striker sale
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville admits he is baffled at his old club’s decision to sell Danny Welbeck to Arsenal for just £16m.
In an interview with talkSPORT, Neville said that £16m is a very low fee to pay for a player with great potential moving to a main rival.
Neville, who also works on the England coaching staff, said: “After all the prices I’ve seen paid this summer and, obviously I’ve been working with him the last week, I’m thinking how is it just £16million?”
