Abou Diaby offered pay-as-you-play deal

Perennially crocked Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby will be offered a new, pay-as-you-play contract according to the Daily Telegraph.

Diaby is close to a return to fitness after just 16 Premier League appearances in four years and his recent runouts in the U-21s have convinced Arsene Wenger he deserves to rebuild his career at the Emirates, but in a more cost effective way for the club.
