Wenger to rest Jack Wilshere for Champions League clash with Galatasaray

Despite it being a crucial European tie for the club the manager may leave out Wilshere rather than rushing him back following injury.

The England international turned his ankle during the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday and Wenger is unsure whether to play him or not.

“He’s in the squad. Whether I start him or not, I have to be cautious, but he is in the squad,” the 64-year-old was quoted by the Telegraph.
