Long-time Arsenal midfield target Angel Di Maria has admitted that he may leave Uefa Champions League winners Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in the Daily Star.

The brilliant Argentina international turned in a man-of-the-match display last weekend as Los Blancos overcame their city rivals Atletico Madrid 4-1 after extra time to win the European Cup for the 10th time in the club’s history.
However, despite that historic win in the Portuguese capital, and the starring role that Di Maria played in Madrid’s victory, the player says that he is still not certain to be at the Santiago Bernabeu next season.
And that is because there are believed to be a number of big-name clubs from across the continent lining up massive bids to try to tempt Di Maria away from the Spanish capital this summer, one of who is said to be the Gunners.
“I am not going to lie, I know that there are clubs that want to sign me and can match Real Madrid’s demands,” Di Maria told Spanish sports daily Marca.
“But that’s up to my representatives and the club. I will stay if the club wants me to stay.
“I am not thinking about my future now. We will see what Madrid have in mind, whether they want me to stay or leave.
“I am happy at Madrid. I had a great season and always had everybody’s support.
“But sometimes you don’t have a choice, even when you want to stay yourself.”
Di Maria, 26, has a contract at Madrid that runs until June 2018.
