Hernandez says he was not been given enough confidence at Old Trafford.
Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is distraught with the club for not showing enough faith in him last season, and is probably set for a move out of Old Trafford this summer, reports the Daily Express.
The 26-year old Mexican international was a bit part player last season, making just 14 starts in all competitions for the Red Devils.
United’s rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are among those interested in the striker, who has also lost his place as the first choice forward for Mexico.
The disgruntled forward, who has been voicing his disappointment.
“This whole year has been very tough,” Hernandez said.
“Players need confidence more than anything else, and I’ve been very short of it. Very few people have shown faith in me over this past year.”
Hernandez’s statement clearly hints that he is set for move out of Man United, but it’s unknown whether the English giants would sell him to a direct rival in the Premier League as opposed to selling him to a suitor abroad.
