The France international is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, and told reporters that he intends to move on over the summer.
“I think I will leave late in the season. I wonder if Bielsa will remain. But I want a top-flight challenge. I will consider all proposals carefully,” he said.
It is believed that the club cannot continue to support his salary and any contract offered will be at a greatly reduced rate.
The news will undoubtedly be interesting to Arsenal and fellow Premier League giants Liverpool, who have both cast admiring glances in his direction in the past.
