Debuchy to come in as Sagna replacement.
Arsenal could be ready to announce their second signing of the summer in Newcastle United’s Mathieu Debuchy, according to the London Evening Standard.
Reports suggest that the Gunners had long completed the deal, but were waiting until the Magpies gave the go ahead for the move after getting the 28-year old’s replacement.
With Newcastle now all but set to complete the signing of Feyenoord right-back Daryl Janmaat, they will finalise Debuchy’s £10 million move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal would therefore be able to announce their second signing of the summer after having already announced the purchase of £32 million former Barcelona star Alexis Sanchez.
The Gunners seem to be a on a big spending spree this summer as they are now ready to add more players to their squad.
Their manager Arsene Wenger wants to bring in more world-class quality into his squad, and is thus being linked with moves for Real Madrid ace midfielder Sami Khedira and his German international teammate Lars Bender.
