The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Gabon international in recent days, and Fichajes.net [via Metro] reports that Premier League giants are willing to pay £28.4m for the former St Etienne man.
The report suggests Arsenal have already entered negotiations with the Bundesliga heavy-hitters for the speedy attacker.
Aubameyang was a shining light in what was otherwise a dark season for Dortmund, scoring 16 league goals as his side slumped to a seventh-placed finish.
His pace would help Arsenal create one of the most feared attacks in Europe alongside fellow speedsters Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott as Arsene Wenger looks to build a side capable of winning the Premier League title.
Incoming Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel will not want to lose one of his most prized assets, and it is likely that Arsenal will have to pay the a premium for the 26-year-old.
