Arsenal player ratings: Defence once again not good enough in Man United defeat

CB) Nacho Monreal 5 – Monreal clearly isn’t a central defender and United looked to exploit that at every opportunity.

LB) Kieran Gibbs 5 – Was somewhat unfortunate to score an own goal with a deflection, but miscommunication with Szczesny led to it.

DCM) Mikel Arteta 6 – Neat in possession but, as has been the norm with Arsenal, didn’t protect the defence to a high enough standard.
