Arsenal’s player ratings in the 2-2 draw with Manchester City.
One point gained, or two wasted? Arsenal fans can take a lot of positives from the draw with Premier League champions Manchester City, even though they gave up the lead with a terrible lapse in concentration. New boy Danny Welbeck could have got on the scoresheet, but Gunners fans did get to see two wonderful strikes from Alexis Sanchez and golden boy Jack Wilshere. See the player ratings below.

GK: Wojciech Szczesny – 6/10
Still looks unconvincing and could have done more to prevent both City goals.
RB: Mathieu Debuchy – 7/10
Looked his typical dynamic self until injury forced him off.
CB: Laurent Koscielny – 6/10
Switched off for the equaliser, will need to reapply his concentration.
CB: Per Mertesacker – 7/10
Ditto Mertesacker, but nullified the areal threat as the game went on.
LB: Nacho Monreal – 7/10
Brilliant, got forward well and linked up nicely with Ramsey on the left.
