Theo Walcott gave Arsenal their first home goal of the season.
Arsenal got a huge home win over Stoke City thanks in no small part to Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud sharing the forward duties and getting the job done in crunch time.
Walcott and Giroud finally ended the club’s scoring woes, recording the first Arsenal goals at Emirates Stadium this year and recording their first win without an own goal of the season.

Here are the Arsenal player ratings from their 2-0 win over Stoke City:
Petr Cech – 8/10
Another clean sheet for Cech who made four easy saves and seldom left any openings for Stoke.
Hector Bellerin – 6.5/10
Solid defensive effort for Bellerin as Stoke City struggled to get past him.
Gabriel Paulista – 7.5/10
A whopping six clears for Paulista kept the ball out of the Arsenal box for most of the day.
Laurent Koscielny – 7/10
Two tackles and a drawn foul did wonders for the Arsenal defense.
