Left-back: Nacho Monreal – 7/10

Was kept very busy by Coleman and Naismith. In fairness, Monreal did ok. And he provided the cross for Giroud’s equaliser.

Centre-back: Per Mertesacker – 4/10

Seemed to be suffering from a bad World Cup hangover. Sluggish and clumsy, he was frequently outpaced and overpowered by Lukaku. Got booked for a rash lunge on Naismith in the first half.
