Mesut Ozil – 8/10
All Arsenal say: “The German’s role is often somewhat understated, and he occasionally goes a little unnoticed. He was pulling the strings along with Santi Cazorla against Everton though, and the cherry on top was our third goal which he finished in a calm and composed nature. ”
Jack Wilshere – 7/10
All Arsenal say: “He was certainly trying to make something happen, but you could see that he’d played a large part of our previous clash against Singapore XI. He’s not a natural wide man, but with a few absences he was forced onto the wing.”
Olivier Giroud – 6/10
All Arsenal say: “The Frenchman wasn’t at his best, and was visibly suffering in the heat. He had a couple of chances to score, but couldn’t find the back of the net.”
Theo Walcott – 7.5/10
All Arsenal say: “The England international has become a real goal threat, and got us off to a flyer with his first half goal. His passing and linkup play leave a lot to be desired, but if he keeps scoring that won’t matter too much.”
