Substitute: Chuba Akpom – 6.5/10
All Arsenal say: “The hat-trick hero from our last pre-season game, Akpom came on for a cameo in the second half. He came close to getting a goal, but rushed things a little and pulled the trigger too early.”
Substitute: Mathieu Debuchy – 6.5/10
All Arsenal say: “He might struggle to wrestle a starting spot back from Bellerin, but he will be an excellent option off the bench.”
Substitute: Mikel Arteta – 6.5/10
All Arsenal say: “It’s good to see our captain back, and he looked to influence the game straight away. He is unlikely to play a large role next season, but he is an excellent captain both on and off the pitch.”
Substitute: Francis Coquelin – 7/10
All Arsenal say: “A defensive midfielder is hugely important to our setup, and we will miss Coquelin when he’s unavailable next season. He was solid against Everton, and will be looking to play a key role in our season once again.”
Substitute: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 7/10
All Arsenal say: “It was a mixed bag from the youngster, and we saw the best and the worst from him.
“He was a constant threat, and used his pace and power to devastating effect. His final ball was incredibly poor however, and his mistake led to Ross Barkley getting the goalscoring opportunity which he converted.”
