Arsenal player ratings from 4-1 win over Newcastle United: Giroud, Cazorla and teenage star all shine for Gunners

ALM) Danny Welbeck 7 – His pace and movement troubled Newcastle from the off – was unlucky to have a goal ruled out.

SC) Olivier Giroud 8 – Lead the line well and scored two fine goals – one fantastic header and a glorious flick at the near post.

SUB) Lukas Podolski 6 – Didn’t do a lot wrong but didn’t really get involved. Nearly hammered one home late on.
