Mathieu Flamini – 8/10
Admittedly, Mathieu Flamini had a difficult first half of the game, struggling to deal with David Silva, whose tricky feet and eye for a pass proved Manchester City’s best threat throughout.
After the break however, Flamini took the game by the scruff of the neck, and dragged Arsenal forward. It was one of those attacking runs that resulted in his equaliser.
Mikel Arteta – 7/10
Mikel Arteta has looked immensely tired in recent weeks, but put fatigue aside to show considerable fight against Manchester City.
As well as his typical defensive efforts and metronomic simple passing to dictate play, Arteta added a degree of urgency and creativity in the second half to help Arsenal in attack.
