Tomas Rosicky – 7/10
Tomas Rosicky was the most proactive Arsenal player in the first half, showing considerable effort and excellent running with the ball.
The Czech midfielder faded somewhat after the break, but his efforts were certainly appreciated by Arsenal’s fans.
Santi Cazorla – 7/10
Santi Cazorla provided good movement the whole game, and frequently received the ball in promising positions, but was rarely able to supply the creativity he is known for.
When his touch didn’t let him down however, he showed good close control and dribbling, and won his team some dangerous free kicks.
Lukas Podolski – 7/10
Lukas Podolski is a tricky player to work out. He always looks a yard or two off the pace, but also regularly makes the difference in games – as he did today with the assist for Mathieu Flamini’s equaliser.
Podolski had the chance to put Arsenal ahead in the second half, but his shot from the left side of the box was saved by Joe Hart in the Man City goal.
