Passed the ball simply, as always, but typically, provided very little attacking threat.

• 20 Mathieu Flamini – 4

Flamini should have played against Chelsea, not tonight. Arsenal had the ball all evening, so his robust style wasn’t needed. To cap it off, he scored an embarrassing own goal in the dying minutes of the game. Oh dear.

• 15 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 5 (Podolski, 57) 

Lucky not to be banned following the weekend’s antics against Chelsea, but had a poor game. Gave the ball away far too often, tired quickly, and was hauled off quickly.
