Arsenal are set to continue its pursuit of Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, however, reports suggest the Gunners are now looking to wrap up a deal for the Argentine international in January.
Higuain has been linked with a move away from Napoli this summer with the Gunners believed to be in pole position to sign the former Real Madrid man.
According to Metro, Napoli are desperate to keep hold on Higuain and are only listening to offers of at least £59m for the 27-year-old.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is understood to not be keen to make such a splurge in the transfer market at this stage, and the North London club are hoping to land the player in a cut-price deal in January, Fichajes [via Metro] reports.
Wenger was believed to be wanting to bolster his front third before the end of the summer window, but it now seems the Frenchman will hold out until January to land Higuain.
