Arsenal are ready to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani, according to reports.
The Gunners had been heavily linked with a move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, however, the French international slammed the door firmly shut on any move away from the Bernabeu.
Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen to bolster his attack before the end of the summer transfer window, and The Mirror reports Arsenal will turn its full attention into signing Cavani.
Cavani is believed to have grown frustrated after being played out of position by Blanc, and it is understood the Uruguayan could be tempted to leave the Parc de Princes.
Manchester United are also reported to be interested in the former Napoli man and could aim for a late swoop after missing out on now-Chelsea winger Pedro.
PSG completed the £44m signing of Angel di Maria this summer, meaning Cavani could potentially drop even further down the pecking order at the Ligue 1 club.
