Manchester United’s tepid 1-0 defeat to West Brom means the Gunners have a real chance of a 2nd or 3rd placed finish, their highest in several seasons, and one that Arsene Wenger will pin-point as showing the progress his side has made.
Arsenal may have been kept at bay by ‘boring’ Chelsea last weekend and earlier this season they came unstuck at the Emirates against the Tigers in a 2-2 draw, but Monday night’s game is a whole other ballgame.
We expect an Arsenal thrashing that will plunge Hull further into a relegation dog fight, and here’s the side we think will do it:
GK: David Ospina
His almost TKO of Chelsea’s Oscar last week aside, Ospina’s been in great form for the Gunners since he came into the side in January – his stats showing he’s actually been the League’s best keeper in 2015.
RB: Hector Bellerin
Mathieu Debuchy is still missing from the Gunners squad with a hamstring issue, Bellerin handled Hazard with consummate ease last weekend and expect him to handle Hull’s wide attacking threat with aplomb too.
