Lukasz Fabianski
Arsene Wenger has used Fabianski in the Gunners’ cup matches so far this season the Pole looked solid in the third round win over arch-rivals Tottenham. Fabianski should be given another chance against the League One outfit.
Carl Jenkinson
Bacary Sagna’s fine form has restricted Jenks’ appearances so far this term but the 21-year-old is more than capable of coping with the threat of City.
Thomas Vermaelen
The club captain is struggling to force his way into first team, with Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny a formidable partnership at centre-half. The Belgian has even been linked with a move away from Arsenal this month, in a bid to boost his World Cup hopes but Vermaelen should start here.
Per Mertesacker
Arsenal lack cover at centre half so one of Mertesacker or Koscielny is likely to partner the captain at centre back. The Germany seems the most likely option.
Kieran Gibbs
The 24-year-old has only featured once this month after returning from injury and is likely to start this match as he builds his way back to full fitness.
