Arsenal news
The point against the Black Cats means the Gunners can lose to West Brom and, barring a seven-goal swing, still remain in third place ahead of Manchester United and in the automatic qualification spots for Europe’s top tier competition at the final whistle on Sunday.
They’ll clearly want a win and look to regain a bit of firepower ahead of their FA Cup final with Aston Villa on May 30th, but, given this game is on the horizon, expect Arsene Wenger to make a few changes against Tony Pulis’s side.
Here’s how we see the Gunners lining up on Sunday:
GK: David Ospina
Will have put a few doubts in Arsene Wenger’s mind over the last few weeks with a couple of poor errors that have led to goals.
This could be his last game of the season with Wojcich Szczesny thought to be the cup keeper and likeliest to face Aston Villa.
RB: Hector Bellerin
With Debuchy still missing, Bellerin is the obvious option to start on the right side of defence and finish his breakout season in the Arsenal first XI with a flourish.
