Arsenal enquire about signing Juventus’ Italian international star in closing days of transfer window, reports the London Evening Standard.
Arsenal are preparing a surprise move to sign Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella, according to London Evening Standard journalist James Olley.

The move is unlikely to placate fans of the Gunners, who have been hopeful of big moves throughout the summer, but only have free transfer Yaya Sanogo to their name and have had to watch as Tottenham Hotspur spent millions.
Quagliarella is openly on the market, which makes enquiring about his availability all the more curious.
Former AS Monaco sporting director and current Guardian columnist Tor-Kristian Karlsen was perplexed by the move – particularly given that Norwich City passed on signing him in July.
According to @JamesOlley of the Evening Standard, Arsenal have enquired about Fabio Quagliarella. Turned down by Norwich last month…

Bizarre that any club would have to even enquire about Fabio Quagliarella, agents been offering him around the Premier League all summer
