Arsenal could have signed Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling earlier in his career, according to former academy boss and club legend Liam Brady, the Metro reports.
The 19-year-old, now one of the star players for Liverpool and for the England national team, started his career at Queens Park Rangers before being spotted by the Gunners in 2010.
However, Brady admits he didn’t do enough to push a deal through, allowing him to later seal his move to Anfield.
“I think I could have got Raheem Sterling if I’d really gone for him,” Brady explained.
“But I didn’t go through with that one [in the end].”
