Gunners keen to beat Everton to signing of Tyrone Mings.
Arsenal are ready to step up their interest in right back Tyrone Mings from Ipswich Town, report the Mirror, with Premier League rivals Sunderland and Everton also interested in signing the in-form defender in January as he continues to impress for the high-flying Tractor Boys.

Mings has been exceptional for Mick McCarthy and his Ipswich side in the Championship this season as they look to put together a challenge for promotion back to the Premier League, attracting the attentions of the Gunners, who sent senior scout Steve Rowley to run the rule over Mings during yesterday’s 1-1 Championship draw against Blackburn Rovers at Portman Road.
Arsenal could face competition for the highly rated Mings in January, however, with both Sunderland and Everton having watched and held an interest in the 21 year-old.
