Arsene Wenger is very keen on 17-year-old forward Antonio Sanbria…
Premier League giants Arsenal are willing to pay young Barcelona forward Antonio Sanabria’a £2.5m release clause, reports the Mirror.
The Paraguayan starlet is regarded as one of the brightest talents in La Masia academy, and the Catalan club will be desperate to keep hold of him.
However, the Gunners have learnt that the striker is available for a bargain £2.5m fee, because of a release clause.
Arsene Wenger has regularly poached the best young talent from Barcelona, and have snapped up Jon Toral, Hector Bellerin, Cesc Fabregas, Julio Pleguezuelo Selva and Fran Merida in the past.
Sanabria is lightning fast, and has the technical ability to slot into Arsenal’s slick, passing style of football.
Barcelona though are desperate to secure the youngster to a new long-term contract. They plan to tie the player down until 2019, and insert a very high release clause to ward off interest from European suitors.
