Arsenal are keen on signing Villarreal defensive midfielder Bruno Soriano, reports suggest.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is understood to be keen to strengthen his midfield before the end of the transfer window and is reportedly eyeing a move for the 31-year-old Spaniard.
According to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, the Gunners are keen to bring in Soriano to provide competition to Francis Coquelin.

Soriano has made 252 league appearances for Villarreal since making his debut for the La Liga club in 2006 and is also believed to have interest from Italian powerhouse AC Milan.
According to Daily Express, however, Arsenal are keen to make a £25m move for Paris Saint-Germain defensive midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
At just 20 years old, Rabiot is certainly a attractive proposition for the Gunners and would already provide Coquelin with plenty of competition for a starting spot in Wenger’s side.
