Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic could be about to become an Arsenal player as they prepare a £5m bid for the youngster, reports CaughtOffside.

Arsene Wenger sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old in action for Croatia during their Euro 2016 qualifier with Italy and the Gunners staff were impressed with what they saw.
Wenger is keen to sign a defensive midfielder in the January transfer window with concerns growing over the capabilities of captain Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini in the role.
Although Jack Wilshere had been touted for a holding position the Frenchman is not convinced by the England international there and has instead looked to buying an alternative.
Sporting Lisbon star William Carvalho is one being monitored by the North London club, but the 22-year-old’s valuation is likely to put off Wenger.
Brozovic would be a much cheaper alternative, but the Premier League side will face competition from AC Milan and a host of German teams.
