The 23-year-old looks one of the top young strikers in Europe at the moment, having shone in Ligue 1 this season to also attract interest from the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool.
However, Real have been urged by club legend Zinedine Zidane to pursue his fellow countryman, who could be a good signing to replace the unsettled Karim Benzema.
Zidane has also previously advised Real to beat other top clubs to the signing of Juventus’ Paul Pogba, another outstanding French prospect.
