Why this rumour is good news for Arsenal and bad news for Spurs.
Arsenal could receive a double boost to their January transfer window plans as AS Roma line up a move to sign Porto striker Jackson Martinez, according to Fichajes.net.

Arsenal transfer news
It is likely that the Italian giants are chasing the Colombian international as a replacement for Mattia Destro, who has been strongly linked with the Gunners several times in the last few months.
The arrival of Martinez at Roma would significantly help Arsenal land Destro this January, whilst at the same time denying Tottenham the chance to sign one of their own top striker targets.
Martinez’s fine goalscoring form at Porto has seen him linked as one of Spurs’ top targets upfront this winter, and his arrival at White Hart Lane would certainly give Mauricio Pochettino’s side an added boost as they look to rival Arsenal for a top four place.
Still, the 28-year-old may well head to the Stadio Olimpico instead, leaving Tottenham short of quality in attack while Arsenal improve their options further if Destro makes the move to north London.
